Chapter 4 of The Illustrated US Mortality Guide contains 3 tables showing how much deaths changed in every state, each month in the years 2020, 2021, and 2022, compared to the monthly average in 2018-2019. These tables had to be abbreviated to a half-year in the digital version, which doesn’t seem to like large tables. Because I think these tables are so important, I’m posting them here, to ensure they are available to everyone.
In the tables, cells showing states/months where deaths increased less than 15% are highlighted in green; cells showing where deaths increased more than 40% are highlighted in yellow; and cells showing where deaths increased more than 60% are highlighted in red.
